New Years Eve

Our 2009 New Years Eve was one to remember. We started the evening out at my Aunt and Uncle's house with my Bushman relatives. We enjoyed our time there and visited with family members. About 9:00 we left and went over to some friends house

While the men were downstairs watching movies and the women were upstairs playing games, the kids were downstairs playing with toys. Unfortunately, one of the little kids turned on the fireplace and our niece touched the hot glass and burned her hands. It took the adults a while to figure out what happened, she isn't old enough to talk, and just keep crying. Poor girl!!

Tom and Aimee decided to take her to the hospital to treat her little burned hands and we volunteered to take the boys for the night. Jim and I had a great sleep over!

Jim was not super excited to wake up in the morning. The boys wake up much earlier than we are use to...

We obviously don't have enough toys in the house...so we found a box for the boys to play in.

Here is the little injured one. She was so happy after she got her hands all wrapped up.
